The Community Food Pantry of Murrieta is a caring community of volunteers from our area called to impact family and community with nutritious food and supplementary resource assistance so that lives of people are filled with hope as they get back on their feet.

The Community Food Pantry of Murrieta was recently awarded the Agency of the Year from Feeding America for San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.

Non-Profit-Of-The-YearThe Murrieta Chamber of Commerce presented the award for Non-Profit of the Year to the Community Pantry of Murrieta.  The Community Food Pantry , the 2nd Hand Treasures Thrift Store and the Outreach Center of the Valley all contribute to the Community Pantry.

The number of families whose needs have been addressed has increased steadily from the 5 families supported in 1997 to 500+ families a week during 2013.  Since 1997 the program has grown from 25 to 1,000 registered/assisted families.  Since 1997 over 38,840 families have been served 108,690 times.  From the 332,316 served through the Food Pantry, over 3,454,106 meals were handed out to the area served.
